Thoughts on using CVS Motors for a repo car?

Hey all, looking at a Honda Civic on cvsmotors.com. The prices seem really good but I've never used an online repo auction before. A bit nervous about the whole process, especially about getting a clean title. Are these guys legit? Any experiences to share?

Been using CVS Motors for years. Bought a Challenger and a Ram 1500. Both times the process was smooth. Don't worry about the title, they handle all the bank lien stuff. The clear title arrived with the truck on delivery day. Solid company.

@NewbieMike88 Yeah they're one of the better ones. Their site cvsmotors.com is pretty easy to navigate once you get the hang of it. Just make sure you read the vehicle condition reports carefully. They are usually very accurate from what I've seen.

We got a 2021 Honda CR-V for my wife from them about 6 months ago. So happy with the purchase. Saved a ton compared to a regular dealer.

I had a minor issue, my delivery was delayed by a couple of days. The car was supposed to arrive Tuesday and came on Thursday. I was getting a little worried, but their support team was responsive once I got through. The car itself was perfect though.

@sara_k_91 Shipping delays can happen with any large item I guess. I got my F250 from them last month, arrived right on time. The condition was exactly as pictured, maybe even a little cleaner. No complaints here.

My buddy won a Tundra from them and asked me to give it a once-over when it arrived. I was impressed. The condition report on the site was spot on. No hidden rust, engine was solid. He got a great deal.

It's not just cars either! I bought a 2018 Sea Ray boat from CVS Motors. Was super worried about something that complex, but it's been fantastic. The best part was not having to chase down the title. It was all handled by CVS Motors and arrived perfectly with all the paperwork.

I had a question about the bidding process and found it easier to just call them rather than email. The support number is +1 330 862 9366. The guy I spoke to was a bit rushed but he answered my question clearly and I won the auction for a Subaru Outback that weekend. lol

Congrats @jess_w_91! Yeah I agree, calling is usually quicker. I've found their email support (office@cvsmotors.com) can take up to a day for a reply, which is fine if you're not in a hurry. You just have to be patient.

Seconding what everyone else said. CVS Motors is legit. Just stick to the cars with lots of photos and detailed reports. Got my WRX from them last year, no problems at all.

Just wanted to add my two cents. Bought a project car, a '92 Miata. Knew it needed work, but the description was honest about what was wrong and what was right. Paid, they delivered it, title was clean. Happy customer.

We bought our Class C motorhome through them. A big purchase to make online but the photos and inspection video were super detailed. We did have a slight delay with the bank releasing the lien, but the CVS Motors team stayed on top of it and kept us in the loop. It all worked out in the end.
