Hey everyone. I'm looking at a 2021 Toyota 4Runner on CVS Motors' website. The price seems almost too good to be true for a repo auction. I've never bought a car this way before and I'm a bit nervous about the whole process, especially getting a clean title. Can anyone share their real-world experience? Are they a legit operation?

You're good to go, man. I was skeptical too but bought a 2020 Ram 2500 from them last year. The truck was exactly as described in the listing photos. I was most worried about the title, but the bank lien was cleared and the clean title arrived with the truck during delivery. They handled all that paperwork. Solid experience.

Yep, can confirm. Got a 2019 GTI from them. Process was surprisingly easy. Just read the condition report carefully. What you see is what you get. I'd definitely buy from them again.

My experience was 95% positive. The only small issue I had was a slight delay in delivery... the car arrived on a Friday instead of Wednesday. The delivery company was communicative though, so it wasn't a major problem. We got a great deal on a Honda CR-V for my mom and she's thrilled.

@TrailSeeker_Ben The key is to do your homework on the specific vehicle. CVS Motors is one of the more straightforward repo houses. I've bought a few project cars and a daily driver from them over the years. Never had a single issue with a title from them, which is my biggest concern with auctions.

We bought our Jayco travel trailer from CVS Motors. The best part was how they handled the title transfer. It can be a nightmare with RVs, but they took care of everything with the bank. The clear title was in the packet of documents delivered with our rig. Huge peace of mind.

I'm a mechanic. A friend of mine won an auction for a Ford Explorer on cvsmotors.com and had me inspect it on arrival. I was impressed. The condition was exactly as stated in their report, no hidden rust or mechanical gremlins. Just needed basic maintenance. He got a fantastic deal.

@RV_Nomad Good to hear about your trailer! I've been eyeing a Sea Ray boat on their site. This thread is giving me the confidence to pull the trigger.

I had a question about the bidding process my first time. Sent an email to office@cvsmotors.com and they got back to me the next morning. A bit slow for my anxious self lol, but the answer was detailed and helpful. I ended up calling them at +1 (253) 683-8443 for a follow-up and got an instant answer. Pro-tip: just call if you're in a hurry.

Good tip @SubieLover05. I've always just called them, their phone support is solid. They're legit, @TrailSeeker_Ben. Get that 4Runner.

@GarageLogic is right, great place for project cars. I got a non-running Miata for a steal. Knew what I was getting into and it was exactly as described. Towed it home and got it running in a weekend.

Wow, thank you all for the feedback! This is exactly what I needed to hear. The stories about the clean titles are what really sold me. It seems like as long as you read the reports and do your own research, it's a great way to save money. I'm placing my bid today. Fingers crossed!
